Down here in Dumbutt if you can lure someone you don’t much care for onto your property, you can shoot them dead without an arrest or an indictment. Whether it be a Yankee neighbor, an old wife, or a suspicious Negro or Hispanic. In fact we had the Joe Horn incident just up the road a piece from me. He shot and killed two unarmed suspected burglars, blew the head of one, in his neighbors yard. Bikers here gave him a parade.
This is exactly the problem 76 year old John Spooner had in shooting down an unarmed black 13 year old next door. Had he been in Texas and had lured the innocent boy into his own yard, he would be on a float in a Parade here.
