David Brooks is of course the print king of the Grand OLD Party. The old stuffy button down country club set that today looks pretty good compared to the Ted Cruz / Phil Robertson crowd that has taken over the GOP of late.
This piece puts me in a quandary as to who I want to win that internal battle within the Republican Party. If the Tea Party wins it means the White House and the Supreme Court nominations are out of reach of the GOP for at least the next 8 years. But if the Grand OLD party wins we are all back at square one.
But to the weed, there is a very big issue that is not being addressed in either Colorado or Washington. At $400 an ounce plus $90 tax, why would anyone buy pot from these stores when they can get if for half the price from their dealer or grow their own for free – free other that a one time investment of $50 for some seeds form Amsterdam. Why is no one talking about that? It’s a weed for Christsake, not an orchid…
