This brings up something I have given a lot of thought to lately. The NRA does not want background checks because then the government – which they intend to overthrow shortly – will know who has all the guns. I am a parent, and like all parents I would like to know who in my neighborhood are the gun enthusiasts. For like any sane parent, the last place in the world I would want my children to go play would be at a gun enthusiasts house. “Hey kids! Go trick or treat over at the Nugent house!” Much safer for our children to go play just about anywhere else than in a house full of guns. I believe every parent has the right to know who in their neighborhood have guns, what kind of guns and how many of them. Remember, Adam Lanza and his mother were gun enthusiasts. As were Klebold, Harris, Holmes, Loungher, Nugent, Cripps, MS13, LaPierre, Tim McVeigh, David Koresh, Selleck, Son of Sam, and every inner city gang member.
