Stephen Colbert, Roy Moore & Donald Trump, birds of a feather

Stephen Colbert, Roy Moore & Donald Trump, birds of a feather“Roy Moore denies it. That’s all I can say. He denies it. He totally denies it. He says it did not happen, and you know, you have to listen to him also.” Birds of a feather Donald Trump telling people to vote for Roy Moore.

There are two serious issues here in this sex panic we are going through.  First is that we are lumping these men all together when the degrees of the harassment are so widely different. Al Franken had no power over that Playboy centerfold with big hooters. He did not expose himself in any way, he did touch any of her private parts, he touched 2inch thick Keflar, he was a liberal giving a conservative a hard time in his funny unfunny way. While Roy Moore was using his power to strip, touch the genitals and expose himself to a 14 year old and locking his car doors and grabbing a a 16 year old by the back of her head and shoving it into his crotch.  THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.

But even worse than these sour apples and rotten apples put in the same basket is that the ones who admitted it and apologized are in far more trouble than those who flat out deny it. Which has been the talking point of Republicans now for a week. Trump and Moore are innocent only because they call the accusers liars.

The hypocrisy of Trump believing all the women who accused Democrats and disbelieve all the women who accused Republican? Hypocrisy does not matter to Republicans or their voters at all, not one wit. In fact hypocrisy in the face of multiculturalism and baby murdering is no vice.
