Texas Taliban Fires Professor Sheri Klouda for being a Woman

"My response is simply one of gratitude to God and to a host of people, Americans everywhere may still rejoice in freedom of faith and the ordering of their churches and institutions accordingly." Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary President Paige Patterson.

sheri kloudaDallas based Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary has won its legal case in firing professor Sheri Klouda because "Women should not be allowed to teach men." U.S. District Judge John Henry McBryde agreed and dismissed Klouda’s 2006 case in Federal court today.

At first glance it would seem that the infamous conservative judge known in Texas as "Maximum McBryde" and often considered "unfair", "unjust", "mean", "nasty", "bigoted", "fascist" and who is always at odds with the Texas Bar would be at fault. But no, this is standard fair and set by over a hundred years of precedent.

This misogyny did not come from either the Afghanistan Taliban or Osama Bin Laden as one may expect, but came on high recently from the Southern Baptist Convention, the largest single religious organization in America. For what it is worth, Republican Presidential candidate John McCain recently switched religions from Methodist to Baptist.
