This will undoubtedly be a special episode of ‘COPS’ Dallas, Texas. Police in Dallas answered a call in which a 57-yr-old woman was being beaten with a frozen armadillo. The attacker was a purveyor of fresh frozen armadillo. Oddly, the altercation didn’t take place at the local Piggly Wiggly, but at an apartment complex parking lot.

Investigators say things became heated with the pair while discussing the price of the ‘dillo, which the woman had planned to eat. The carcass was well on the way to becoming tenderized when the man threw it at her twice, striking her in the leg and in the chest. The armadillo salesman is wanted for assault, and it was not reported whether he took the animal with him when he left the scene hurriedly.
This incident begs the question; is this an indication that there is a competitive market for armadillo meat? If so, it is either a commentary upon the sorry state of hunger in America, or proves definitively that Texans will eat anything with enough rub and super special Bar-b-Que sauce on it.
