While a ‘Mittened’ hand on the arm of Rick Perry was as close to hostile contact as the GOP debate got this week, it is still the stuff of controversy. That said, our lawmakers and those who are running for office are absolutely civilized compared to many other nations when they meet to iron out their differences and flatten one another’s knee-caps. Yet judging by the sly snipes and outrageous lies, we may lead the world in behind-the-back character assassination… A dull spectator sport to be sure.
