I am a big defender of the talking heads two sided arguments with hollering and finger pointing. Like it or not it is where we can learn the most about issues by seeing both sides fairly presented both factually and emotionally.Like the old Crossfire on CNN and the McLaughlin Group on PBS.
But you see, Americans don’t like that kind of thing. You can be sure of this because the raucous Republican debates get two or three times the viewership than the Democrats. This also connects to how much Americans hate negative advertising which is the most watched and successful from of political advertising there is.
I have tagged “religion” as one of my categories on Google News so I follow a lot more links to WND.COM, BREITBART.COM and THEBLAZE.COM than most, which are the three most popular extreme Right-wing nut job websites around. I often have to check to make sure I am not at THEONION.COM. I have found that all three are grounded firmly in Evangelical Christian bullpoop. Together they make FOX NEWS seem like Al Jazeera. Which just went off the air leaving no place for those fired from MSNBC to go.
You see the problem?
When they can deny reality about one thing, they can deny reality in all things.
