Seth Meyers takes a closer look at new bombshell allegations that “President” Trump tried to obstruct the FBI investigation of former NSA head Michael Flynn. Trump tried to coerce then FBI Director James Comey into dropping the investigation ‘because Flynn is a good guy.’ Trump is known for his benevolence. After Comey had been coerced, then threatened, and finally fired, surely it became apparent that Trump holds Michael Flynn in the highest regard. A senior official in the Trump administration told the Daily Beast “I don’t see how Trump isn’t completely f#@!ed.”
Words like obstruction of justice, abuse of power and even impeachment have been launched like fireworks on the 4th of July. It is surely a heroic challenge for White House aides to keep Donny ‘Two Scoops’ happy today.
