You don’t have to work hard to follow Trump’s Russian money trail. The Trump family have been charmingly candid about the whole thing since 2008 when Trump got $100 Million from Russia for a new golf course in North Carolina.
James Dodson a respected golf writer.Dodson played with Donald Senior and son Eric in 2008, and learned the story of the Trump’s Russian financing from Eric. Eric’s candor is commendable, although now – years later, it stands as proof that his dad is lying his face off when he denies ever having ‘any deals’ with Russia.
Donald Junior mentioned Russian money when he spoke at a real estate conference in 2008: “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”
Gosh, $100 Million is a lot of money, I wonder if Trump paid the Russians back with interest, or something even more interesting?
Now, let’s not let circumstantial evidence carry us away. Surely Trump will clear his name. Perhaps he will come forward with financial records proving that his sons were misquoted or Dodson ‘was joking’ or full of baloney. If only some record existed – something like his INCOME TAX.
