The moment David Pakman has slowed down to examine, takes place during the inauguration. Melania is standing behind Trump, wearing a demur lavender suit, her face wreathed in broad smiles, looking ahead and upward she beams. Say what you will, Melania was the picture of a happy and proud wife on a historical day.
Now Trump turns to quickly deliver some message to her that no one else hears. Instantly, the color drains from her face, and her wide smile instantly crumbles. Her face now seems to betray stunned embarrassment, fright, or maybe shame? Her face is now tucked downward as if to hide in her collar.
Trump, having delivered the soul-crushing blow, turns to face front, his face betraying bitter satisfaction.
That wasn’t all for Trump the truffle pig. The Obama’s graciously escorted Melania into the building, as her husband had run ahead, like a spoiled birthday boy anxious to get to his presents, leaving her on the step by herself.
