. Seth Meyers takes a closer look at concerns that President-Elect Donald Trump’s foreign business ties, and the conflicts they pose could violate the Constitution. Trump hasn’t yet been sworn in, and it’s quite likely that he’s already in violation of the Constitution. Trump should be in transition, perhaps learning the job, and meeting with foreign leaders on government business. Instead,he’s conducting Trump family business with those same leaders, while giving the press the slip. Trump, tweets: “Only the crooked media makes this a big deal!” Seth isn’t as dismissive, saying: “Yah, the crooked media has some kind of crooked hard-on for the crooked Constitution.” Understandably, the media is one of the first targets on Trump’s hit list.
Trump not at all evasive to the press when he’s playing Pin the Tail on the Appointee. Trump invites the press to stay abreast of the constantly changing line-up…And keep their noses – and ours, out of his business.
By the way, Trump hates this ‘unflattering’ photo. NBC has been asked not to use it, but I think it’s a wonderful likeness.
