Need good news? Well, the toast of the Tea Party, and former dizzy blonde on SNL, Victoria Jackson has announced her bid to run for Williamson County (Tennessee) Commissioner! She wasn’t acting ditzy on SNL and she’s not acting equally clueless now, as many can attest. The proud student of Glenn Beck moved to Thompson’s Station, a town of roughly 2,200 souls, near Nashville and is seeking one of two District 2 commission seats, currently held by commissioners Betsy Hester and John Hancock.
The Tea Party Tootsie, calls herself a Tea Party conservative, yet filed for the office as an independent, saying she’s “Very disappointed with the Republican Party,” presumably because they haven’t yet impeached Obama or instituted mandatory Puritan values. Jackson explains her split from the GOP:
“I just can’t do it anymore; they just don’t have the values of our founding fathers anymore,” she said. “I am sure there are a few Republicans who do. I want less federal government involvement, lower taxes, smaller government, more public involvement, a balanced budget and fiscal responsibility.” These are all goals she plans to restore as county commissioner…Whadda Gal! If only she could meet the Founding Dads and just compare ideas!
V.Jay is certain she’s found an idiological home in Middle Tennessee: “I think I will fit in quite easily with (the current county commission),” Jackson said. “I went to the dentist recently and there was a Bible in the lobby of the dentist office. … I love this town. My two favorite things are here — Jesus and show business.” No wonder combining her two favorite things holds such appeal for her! I shudder to think of her reaction when faced with nothing sexier than a motion to restore garbage pick-up to 6 days a week in her county.
Jackson plans to fit in with her new neighbors. Like many others in Tennessee, she claims that ” mosques are all “terrorist training camps” and there is no such thing as a “moderate Muslim.” You may recall when folks in Tennessee went ballistic when a mosque was opened in Murfreesboro.
As you can see, V.Jay’s work as a commissioner will have a wide scope and influence!
For instance, anyone who knows Jackson knows education is a priority. According to her blog, she opposes Common Core education standards because:
1) dumbs down students 2) gathers a data base full of personal information on the parents which could be used against “political dissidents” 3) Common Core textbooks contain pro-socialist, pro-communist, pro-Islamic, and pro-racist propaganda, and sexually explicit and inappropriate content, i.e. how to masturbate!
I daresay no one wants dumber students, who need to have schools show them how to masturbate – and to think some make fun of this woman.
For the sake of time, I end with Jackson’s opposition to the UN and it’s socialist bike paths. I’ll bet you think it’s a good thing to have a path on which to walk or ride in relative safety? Well don’t be taken in! The government seeks to separate you from your private property! Says Jackson:
“I’m against Agenda 21, which is being implemented already at the local level, in offices like Main St. Franklin where “Franklin Tomorrow” pushes “innocent” policies like bike paths and walking trails, perhaps unaware of the United Nations plot to separate American citizens from their private property, eliminate suburbs, and concentrate people groups into cities, forcing mass transit, eliminating cars under the false-science guise of “human caused” global warming/climate change.”
Please note, I often hear of insidious plans by the Obama Administration to ‘grab guns’ and lock patriots in FEMA camps. I only hear of those plans from right wingers, oddly. If you know – with certainty of such plans please alert us!
One wonders why a conscientious American and social activist like VJ hasn’t run for office before now. She was slow to awaken, but she told ‘The Tennessean’ the light dawned when she read the dictionary definitions of communism, socialism and capitalism.
“Then I said, ‘I smell a rat. I smell communism and socialism creeping in here and we’ve got to get rid of it,’” Jackson said. Ridding the world of such things will be a challenge on the county level. The Republican nominee – if any are brave enough to oppose her, will be selected on May 6.
We sincerely wish her all good luck in her political endeavors. I personally will help gladly in any way I can.
