Video Ed Schultz Unconstitutional bias against unborn would have kept Tancredo, Pearce anchor babies out of U.S.

In part, the 14th Amendment reads;
"No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the united states."

When Ed Schultz suggests that perhaps it is mean spirited, (not to mention unconstitutional and racist) to single out babies born in this country, the answers given by the likes of Russell Pierce and Tom Tancredo are so dizzying that Dramamine is suggested if spinning makes you nauseous.

The Readers Digest Version of Tancredo‘s excuse for the Anchor Baby bill follows.
1. The Amendment isn’t viable, as it was not intended to deal with illegal aliens. It had to do with voting rights for slaves! It gets better.
2. The Constitution was written when we had no need for immigration laws, because we had no illegal aliens.

I can think of one truly American nationality which is rolling in the aisles. Unfortunately, being hospitable did not pay off for them in dealing with wave after wave of nasty and pushy Europeans. The irony is that each successive wave thought the next group was somehow less human ,yet as badly as each (white) ethnic group was treated, it was only once before, in the 19th century when a similar attempt was made to prevent Chinese babies from the right to citizenship.  Oddly, few will admit that skin color plays a part. A black president seems to have blown the lid off of the simmering pot of racism in this country.

May I suggest to all advocates of Arizona Sun Blindness, that if they have white skin, chances are that their grandparents or great grandparents came here from another country, and deposited babies,(often known as ancestors), thereby taking advantage of the 14th amendment, or ‘anchor baby’ amendment, despite the fact that they were both
"aliens" and "immigrants."
