Despite the stern advice that Bob Schieffer of Face the Nation gave to a polite but obstinate John Boehner about his smoking habit, it may be quite a long while before we can report that Boehner is following Schieffer’s advice, and that he and President Obama have become one another’s smoking sobriety buddies.
