What Bill Maher fails to say here is the difference between conservative ideology in England and here is not only that they are far more civilized than we are, but racism is not what drives their internal politics.
I have been beating my head against the wall for over 20 years about Ron Paul and Looneytarians to no one listening.
For me it all came clear watching the 1988 Libertarian Convention where they elected Ron Paul as their Presidential Candidate. Ron Paul left the GOP because the Reagan Administration was far too liberal for him. I also took note that they were also Pro Life at the time which made no sense to me.
I also took note that when Preacher Pat Robertson lost the Michigan Primary, his following of over 200,000 voters went to the LP rather than back George Bush. Go figure.
The visual too was daunting with what looked like an even mix of bikers, nerds and bearded men in coveralls. All overweight, no women and no minorities at all.
I soon realized that putting any of their selfish gun crazy right-wing swill into practice would make Mad Max Thunderdome seem tame.
If they had their way that the largest of their private companies running the ungovernment would need outside help picking up the millions of rotting carcasses of the old, the poor, the sick, the otherly colored and of course the gunless. The gunless wouldn’t last a week.
