Gold: Michael Savage, right wing radio goon. Savage’s hate-drenched speculation of Obama’s inner thoughts dressed as fact, is topped only by his complete and total ignorance of fairly recent history. Who cares? We should, as Keith points out, approximately close to ten million people a week take this mishmash of ignorance and hatred as indisputable truth! When
you add in the Becks, Limbaughs, and minor league haters, it soon becomes obvious why we’re fast becoming the Nation of Duh.
Silver: Glenn Beck. While Beck accuses nearly everyone left of Teabaggers of "Paving the way to fascism," it’s more than a bit unnerving when he finds a path leading the country straight back to the horrendous Nazi camps within a statement from Simon Greer, activist, CEO and President of Jewish Funds for Justice. In part, Greer had stated that all churches must join in the advancement of social justice, advancement of the common good, and advancement for America." If you don’t find anything subversive in those beliefs, you’re not alone. This may be Beck’s first wholesale accusation of Jewish Holocaust survivors and their descendants as pro-Nazi. Greer sums Beck up much more accurately. Personally, I believe Beck went off when he saw the words "social justice." Right now, even ice cream social is close enough to ‘socialism’ for a condemnation from the wild ‘professor’ from Fox.
Bronze: Campbell Brown of CNN. Bemoaning the rats jumping from the "challenging and unbiased" programming available on CNN, for other networks and the net. Have you seen a CNN
news report, or worse yet an often hyperbolic and time wasting "special report" recently?
