It was beyond presumptuous when Newt Gingrich used an interview to speak for Thomas Jefferson and George Washington. Newt claimed that the founding dads and plantation owners would deal violently with marijuana growers. Could this be true?
Washington and Jefferson materialize on 4/20, the official pot holiday, and see Newt’s speech on cable. Will they strongly agree that more draconian methods are needed to punish pot growers, or will they just order more munchies from room service and giggle a lot?
