Though it is very problematic doing this article including this graphic, it is what blogs are for. Tell the truth and take the heat. It is doing what the main stream media should be doing but refuses to do because their only job is to sell Twinkies. Well, come to think of it, it’s not even benign desserts, it’s mostly beer and drug money.
It is of course impossible to say just which email pass around is the most prevalent on the net at any given time, but I have received this one from various email lists more than any other in my 20 years of emailing.
This did not come from FOX News, the Ku Klux Klan, the RNC, or even from political lists. Every instance I received this was from old friends and email acquaintances who are run of the mill Republicans and Independents who think it’s the funniest thing they ever saw. With no compunction of guilt in forwarding it on and on. Nor did I see one Liberal or Democrat on my lists cry foul.
That is the issue. That is why I am taking the chance with this. It is not only the overt racism of monkeys, watermelons and the Arabic lettering painting Barack Obama as a Muslim terrorist… It is that it is coming from – and going to – middle America (small towns) and middle Americans. It is the mammoth in the outhouse. It is about the media driven false dream [lie] that America has moved beyond racism.
