Wisconsin Governor Walker following Baghdad Shock Doctrine

A short synopsis from Paul Krugman Shock Doctrine, U.S.A.

One of the problems with what happened after we took charge of Iraq was that W. Bush put conservative ideological operatives – Paul Bremer – in charge rather than someone with any experience in such matters. Much like "Good job Brownie!" Putting Republicans in charge of public sector agencies who despise public sector agencies.

The thrust of which, in all foreign policy when they Republicans are in charge, is to only throw money when nations sell off any state owned or state run agencies – mostly involving energy and more specifically OIL. Remember the missing tens of BILLIONS to private contractors in Iraq?

Much the same thing is happening in Wisconsin. In Governor Scott Walker’s bill are options for his administration, without legislative consent, to sell any public utility they wish to whomever they wish.

What do the Koch Brothers do?  One thing they do is buy up public utilities, mostly oil powered utilities.
