Puppies Predict Super Bowl 2014 Winner Jimmy Fallon

Puppies Predict Super Bowl 2014 Winner Jimmy Fallon Super Bowl fever is soaring, and Jimmy Fallon has a secret weapon he uses to predict the outcome of such hotly competitive events –  puppies! Cuddly, loveable, adorable, squiggly, playful Labrador pups make a prediction about who will win the battle between the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos on Sunday.

While many two-legged observers are hesitant to predict which side will win in this match up, the puppy pile made a prediction in favor of Denver.

The method used by the puppies is simple. Two bowls of food were placed on the ground. One bowl was marked “Seahawks” the other “Broncos.” After a pep talk from Jimmy, the seven prognosticators were freed from their cage. Only two of the loveable little pups chose to leave their huddle to chow down on the Bronco bowl. The other five, clearly not ready to commit to a decision, stayed safely behind being outrageously adorable.

I would almost bet on the Broncos considering the past success of the soothsaying pups. How accurate are they? The puppies correctly predicted Argo to win Best Picture at the Oscars in 2013, the Broncos to beat the Baltimore Ravens in the 2013 NFL season opener, the Boston Red Sox to win the 2013 World Series, and the Ravens to beat the San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl XLVII.

The cute little guys have been wrong only once. Puppy Barry Frick erred in picking Verrazano to win the 2013 Kentucky Derby.
This is a pretty good record, especially when you consider their hit ‘n miss relationship with the Sports section of the newspaper.
