“I guess I’m a very angry guy since I saw it twice,” Angry Tea Party activist Allen West in response to former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean that the people who are flocking to theaters to see “American Sniper” are angry tea-party types.
That from a NEWSMAX article. I mean really… Who is more Tea Party or more angry than Allen West? Doesn’t Allen West and Newsmax understand they are making Howard Dean’s point for him. Proving that Howard Dean was right? These people are that far gone into Right-wing La La Land? Gosh…
Oh and angry Tea Party actor Gary Sinise made the same claim directed at Howard Dean also proving his point. Are these people not self aware?
It’s like Clint Eastwood saying his movie American Sniper is one of the great anti-war pictures. When his entire career has been glorifying guns, violence and war. MAKE MY DAY. EMPTY CHAIR. Or like Rush Limbaugh’s sarcastic claim, “They say I am a callous sexist Right-wing bloviating bigot!”
What we have here in American Sniper is one of the most defining issues in American politics: Killing versus not killing, war versus peace, gungoonery versus gun control, executions and corporeal punishment. With the violence side of it rooted in American Christianity. That’s my biggest gripe. After all, where else would they have had a funeral parade into one of the biggest stadiums in America in honor of the greatest American killer of all time other than Dallas, Texas – the buckle of the Bible belt.
Read the comments on any website dealing with this issue. It’s full to overflowing with very very angry Tea Partiers, the NRA, fans of Ted Nugent, Sarah Palin, Fox News, Talk Radio, Newsmax, Neocons and the most disgusting right-wing jerkoffs in THE WORLD all screaming their angry Tea Party heads off about the heroics of shooting a couple hundred people from half a mile away for Godsake. It’s like the Republican joy of torture. Remember the real Chris Kyle said he enjoyed the killing, would do it all over again with no second thoughts and he loved war. The kicker of course is that OUR TROOPS is one of the three things we are not allowed to disparage in America, religion and Israel being the other two. If you do you will pay a hefty price.
So far we have two Americans who had the balls to speak up at least a little, both have also tried walking it back to no avail. I have seen not a few comments hoping the are both killed. By a sniper. That’s heroic you see, shooting unarmed movie stars and directors from a mile away.
