Another $4 trillion spending on Iraq, Paresh Nath cartoon

Iraq again, paresh nath cartoon

The U.S. wars in Afghanistan and Iraq will cost taxpayers $4 trillion to $6 trillion, taking into account the medical care of wounded veterans and expensive repairs to a force depleted by more than a decade of fighting. Study: Iraq, Afghan war costs to top $4 trillion

Even conservatives put it at $2 trillion without the VA costs down the road. So who profited the most from these wars?  No doubt about it, Halliburton, whose CEO a few years before the wars was none other than Dick Cheney. What a coincidence hey?

So if we were to remove the cost so far, $2 billion and the cost of the Bush Recession, I would guess President Obama has done better for the economy than any president in history.

Which brings to mind my question that no one has answered. How can the GOP hold back it’s congressional base from the coming Spring Impeachment?
