Belgian Malinois: The Seal team dog that took down Osama Bin Laden

Call him a dog if you must, but a beautiful Seal team member looking much like this one helped take down Osama bin Laden. One of the 80 elite team members deployed the take down bin Laden had four legs and the most luminous, and irresistible brown eyes.

The pooch, likely to be a Belgian Malinois was strapped to a Navy SEAL as they were lowered from a hovering helicopter. Besides bomb-sniffing capabilities, the canine could possibly sniff enemy troops from up to 2 miles away. "The capability they bring to the fight cannot be replicated by man or machine," General David H. Petraeus said last year, calling for more use of dogs.

The dogs have advanced dentistry, many are equipped with titanium fangs capable of ripping through enemy protective armor, at a cost of about $2,000 per tooth." The news of this dog’s part in the raid broke Wednesday, but like all of his SEAL teammates, he is indispensable, and his identity too remains anonymous.

We also wonder why Navy Seal, Governor, professional wrestler and Minnesota Bloviator Jesse Ventura isn’t all over the news cycle on this one?
