Lauren Meyer channels David Byrne and his shoulder pads, the better to sing the praises of Bernie Sanders. Independent candidate Sanders hasn’t quite been Burning Down the House; but he’s doing a respectable job getting his message out…No small job for a relatively unknown candidate.
Media-blitzed and bombastic – Donald Trump is congratulating himself because – well, that’s what he does. He’s especially jazzed that roughly 6,000 uglies gathered in Arizona to welcome him; while Sanders drew 10,000 thoughtful intelligent beings in Wisconsin. You can’t count Bernie out, but it will be fun to hear Sanders and Clinton debate; I suspect that Hillary will welcome having one other coherent grown-up in the room.
