Some people are feeling a bit judgmental about Newt’s policy of dating while married, then divorcing to marry the object of his attentions once the present wife falls ill. Oddly, his wives have always fallen ill, while Newt, who is no poster child for healthy living, seems to thrive.
The judgmental will change their minds once Callista explains the sanctity of their open marriage is nothing like the ‘dirty hippy’ form of free love. For one thing, only Newt is free to roam, while Callista does whatever it is that she does – alone.
