One of the two suspects going on a "Nword" shooting spree in Tulsa, Oklahoma had used the term "Fking Ngrs" on his facebook page. All five men shot were black walking down down the street, two survived. With the Trayvon Martin case still high octane, the Tulsa police chief had this to say:
Police Chief Chuck Jordan said the gunmen appeared to have chosen their victims at random. Police identified those killed as Dannaer Fields, 49, Bobby Clark, 54, and William Allen, 31. Two men were wounded but were released from the hospital, Jordan said.
By county, Oklahoma is the only state that votes 100% Republican. I spent a year there, it is a horrible place by any criteria. Come on, I dare you to come up with one good thing to say about Oklahoma that is not in a Broadway song. Oh, Oh, I have one! The last time I drove from Oklahoma City to Tulsa, that narrow median strip of some hundred miles had two foot high fire ant mounds every few feet. That scene slides into the background as upon entering Tulsa one sees the giant hand of Jesus protruding from the ground reaching for air. This is Oral Roberts University where the size of the hand is proportional to the size of Jesus, which is 110 feet. Really, that is what they teach at Oral Roberts University.
