Donald Trump supporters told the press this week that there is nothing Trump can do to cool their ardor – but those who haven’t yet drunk the kool-aid, may be shocked by the notorious get-rich-quick scammers who directed the bogus ‘Trump Institute,’ and other humiliating scandals which were exposed this week. Some of Trump’s fans will disregard his attempts to fleece the vulnerable with fraudulent scams. They will insist that Trump is a deal-maker and a successful businessman, and those qualities will make him a great president. This report proves that those two much-ballyhooed abilities – are just hot air.
Rachel Maddow exposes the unsavory association between Trump and notorious infomercial scammers Mike and Irene Milin. You may remember the pair, whose get-rich-quick scheme involving J.D. Hayworth, helped him lose to John McCain when scam was revealed.
Rachel focuses on the Trump Institute, which was staged by the Milins. A typical infomercial directed those who wished to be wealthy in their part time, to lay down a substantial wad of cash, attend a seminar, and glean Trump’s own personal secrets! By the way, the ‘secrets’ were lifted without attribution from a magazine article. It truly was a get-rich-scheme, that much was the truth.
The curtain has been pulled aside, and the ‘Wizard’ is exposed as a fraud. We’re about to find out just how gullible people really are.
