Rand Paul is suspending his campaign after finishing fifth in Iowa, but Jeb Bush – who finished sixth behind Paul, is still in it. Based on this new ad, it looks as though Bush is hoping that some of the people who supported the former candidates will get on board with him.
Jimmy Kimmel believes that Jeb can’t go home because his father and brother will laugh at him, but I believe it’s much worse than that. It appears that Jeb would like to just to go home, but the family has belatedly decided to rally ’round. The Big Guns are out, in the person of Barbara Bush. Jeb says that Barbara ‘believes he is her favorite son’ and I think she would know. Babs is out to inform voters that Jeb is disciplined and very, very polite, especially compared to that “crude” Trump boy. As an extra treat, Jeb’s brother will be joining them too…You may remember George the painter. If necessary, Dubya can paint Jeb’s frown into a smiley face! Good times.
