The war on smart people is progressing well. In fact what with the Republicans publishing UT and A&M names, salaries and tenure – smart people all over America are beginning to refuse to come down to Dumbutt, Texas to teach. Lazy college professors
We have had a few smart people in the White House. All have been reviled by the Republican Base. It’s a toss up who had (has) it worse: Jimmy Carter the loser, Bill Clinton the serial murderer or Barack Obama the socialist watermelon man with a bone in his nose. But there is little doubt that the Republican Base understands that smart people – along with those who have the opportunity to get smarter – will put them out of business.
