Speaking of her father, Michelle who was on the verge of tears, reminded Dave "This isn’t Oprah, it’s David Letterman, the funny show." The twinkle in her eye tells us that her tongue was firmly placed in her cheek. Surely she remembers Dave’s long-ago clash with the ‘other TV Titan’ Oprah, which has since been resolved with apologies and kisses… But could flare again like a prairie fire in August!
