A few months ago the Senate voted on a bill to restrict gun sales to those individuals on the FBI’s NO-FLY watch list, it lost 54 to 45 on a party partisan vote, well almost anyway, for reading this list we find ONE Republican, Senator Kirk from Illinois with human qualities, and TWO Democrats lacking human qualities, Senator Risch from Idaho and Senator Heitkamp from North Dakota voted against it. Neither of the three affected the outcome of the vote.
What is needed to fix America is to go backwards, back before January 21 1981 when the Republican Party for almost two generations was just an opposition party, for as we have learned over and over again in the past 36 years, they are no good at all acting as a governing party.
