Olbermann, politicians to be corporate prostitutes, no limits to corporate financing

In his Quick Comment, Keith asks conservatives and liberals alike, "Who’s gonna stop them?" The Supreme Court ruling ending limitations on campaign financing will hand the government directly into the hands of large corporations. While corporations have influenced legislation to an extensive degree, the ruling brings frightening implications for every citizen of the United States.

Indeed who will stop them when even our Supreme Court will be comprised of hand picked
individuals? Thanks to this very Supreme Court, corporations will now have the same
rights as individuals, free to elect the best political toadies and ho’s money can buy.

The list of changes this relatively quiet change can bring, reads like a frightening futuristic novel. The rich will benefit, the poor go by the wayside. Most frightening perhaps, is one small aspect which is detailed with other direct consequences in this comment. It isn’t beyond the scope of reality that many will be seduced, their special interests humored at the freedom of others – until they realize that they too, have been duped. Those who scream "fascism" now may live to see a real example of it, quietly brought in via corporate government.
