Fear no more, Sen Brownback has convinced 20 of his peers from both parties to sign the ‘Human Animal Prohibition Act of 2009.’ Oddly, he’d attempted the same legislation in 2007 and did not receive any support. This must mean that between
2007 and now, the problems of health care, jobs, the economy, and those pesky wars have been solved! No? Maybe drug testing should be enforced in the house and senate.
A partial list of supporters includes Senators John McCain, Ensign, Landreau, and Graham. The concerned legislators feel "Possible hybrids created in laboratories would challenge the very meaning of what it means to be human." I’ve seen quite a few on two legs who do that already, perhaps we might see an improvement?
