Gold: Attny Orly Taitz and Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook. Taitz is an Obama birther whose many lawsuits have failed. Her latest project is Major Cook, apparently in need of a reason to stay out of Afghanistan. While even World Net Daily has admitted President Obama’s birth certificate is authentic,Taitz is pursuing a federal court order in hopes of preventing Cook’s deployment based on the claim that President Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen. Silver: Right Wing Media: In an effort to assist Gov. Sanford on his Appalachian hike, So. Carolina’s newspaper ‘The State’ used public records requests to get email to Sanford while on ‘the trail.’ Once Sanford’s real location was disclosed, other newspapers and radio hosts clamored to offer support, most
refusing to believe the truth. Stephen Colbert may be excused for inviting Sanford to pop by the show or even phone in. In fact, it would be delightful if Sanford would take him up on his gracious invitation.
Bronze: Newt Gingrich. Accustomed to the fawning right wing media, it must have been a shock when Gingrich’s plans to use special ops, midnight raids, and sabotage in Iran to create a "gasoline led crisis" met with outright laughter from Al Jazeera’s Avi Lewis. My fear is that this rare one on one interview will cause people to believe that Gingrich in some way represents all of us!
