Republicans Bill O’Reilly & Ann Coulter screech about Bill Maher

“Well-known religion hater [Bill Maher] has a free pass to bash people of faith, vicious behavior toward Christianity largely ignored in the press.” Bill O”Reilly unloading another load of crap upon audience whose average age is 72.

Republicans Bill O'Reilly and Ann CoulterBoy do I ever take issue with that load of crap! “The Press” or what we call “The Main Stream Media” does not disparage “religion” in any manner ever, or Christianity for that matter. Or does any Congressman, Senator or President, ever. The only ones speaking out against religion are either on HBO or small magazines and websites that do not matter. Even MSNBC does not go there, ever.

There are so few Atheists in the world that we can all pretty much name them all three of them; Dawkins, Harris, Maher and those few Libertarians who know who Penn Jillette is. That’s four!

The most important thing to take away from this video is that these two disgusting bozos, Ann Coulter and Bill O’Reilly, represent the vast majority of Republicans on this and most everything else.

So you younguns, moderates and independents, do not fail to understand that point which overrides Rand Paul decriminalizing pot, or Jeb Bush allowing you to keep your tax money from going to all those lazy bums living downtown somewhere. Who it seems, it is okay to shoot in the back.

Religion plays an important part in the lives of most humans, as most seem to have a genetic disposition that causes them to spend far too much of their time thinking about how death and sex. Though religion softens one thoughts on that final moment, as we can see with these two bozos and most everything we read in the newspaper, it also hardens intolerance, bigotry, tribalism, hatred, violence, terrorism and above all, The Stupid.

It is a trade off that most humans accept, for even John Lennon who was able to “imagine there’s no Heaven and no Hell below us,” also understood that we all need “whatever gets you through the night.”

There is a counter to that argument which was addressed most succinctly over 100 years ago.

“The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one.” George Bernard Shaw
