No matter the self serving lies, Ted Cruz is more popular here in Texas than George Washington, perhaps even Jesus Christ.
There is a Ted Cruz conspiracy going on down here. That wherever he appears his audience of all white Tea Partiers and Confederate secessionists try to beat the 8 minute standing ovation he got at his first speech after he came home to blame President Obama for shutting down the government.
Ted Cruz is not the danger, he is the Joe McCarthy of our time, Americans know what he is, unacceptable. The danger is another Senator who has the exact same extreme Right-wing ideology, mindset and world view. Rand Paul is dangerous because he has the advantage of his Father’s political organization that has 20 years of experience confusing, hiding and misrepresenting the actual ugly politics that drive these reactionaries.
Reactionary is too kind a word for it portends a throw back to Southern Pre Civil War politics. No, these new Evangelical Christian Ayn Rand Libertarians do not want to take us back a couple hundred years, but thousands of years.
They do have a problem with Global Warming. After all, we are running out ice flows to put the old, the infirm and the moochers on to shove out to sea. But where there’s a will there’s a way.
Rand Paul could become the Republican presidential nominee where Ted Cruz has no chance at all.
Though Rand Paul could lose to Hillary Clinton by more than Barry Goldwater lost to LBJ, there is that possibility – which all losers who seek their party nomination for President stand upon – that there could be an assassination, a war or a BJ that could fluke them into the White House.
And there’s a question for the Tea Party! What’s worse, war, assassination or a BJ?
