. No qualms about it, no hiding it, it’s there full frontal with most every appointment by The Donald going to those who rabidly want to destroy the department they are going to head. To what end?
States Rights today! States Rights tomorrow! States Rights forever!
You know, the destruction of the federal government so every state can compete with Mississippi to become the worst in infant mortality, the worst obesity rate, the worst children in poverty rate, the most people in poverty, the worst in pre school, the worst in education, the worst in health care, not to mention the racism and religious intolerance run amok in 35 of the states. Along with one and probably two new Antonin Scalias’ on the Supreme Court. All in all enough to change the constitution. Which sadly puts the hope of the historic progressive movement forward in a cul de sac for a generation.
And you know it’s not even The Donald that is the problem, it’s who and what Republicans are. Impeach Donald and we get Pence, get rid of Pence and still nothing would change.
The only hope is to upset the electoral college and give the election to who actually won it. And the chances of that are about the same as Donald Trump changing his nature come January 20th.
