Seth Meyers takes a closer look at Trump’s post-debate controversies, Hillary’s trouble with millennials and Gary Johnson’s inability to name a world leader. By now you know that Trump was the victim in the ‘Miss Piggy’ controversy, and that many millennials can’t get past what they see as Hillary’s deal-breaking Wall Street connection. Even though Clinton’s policies like free tuition will directly benefit millennials, many are determined to place a protest vote.
That brings us to Gary ‘Protest-Vote’ Johnson (Libertarian) who has run an ‘Aleppo Moment’ campaign. Recently, asked to name a world leader he admires, Johnson folded.
Seth admonished Johnson saying:
“Have you learned nothing from Trump? At least stall a little. ‘I know all the foreign leaders. I can name every single one. I’m the best at naming foreign leaders – everyone says so.'”
It’s okay, there is no reason to get all fussed up about global warming or free tuition. Take the long view like Johnson, who is probably right. In a billion years or so, the sun will destroy the earth anyway.
