Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has unexpectedly swerved to the left, using his video “Trump Code.” The format is similar to MTV’s “Girl Code” and is geared to snare millennials who may be vulnerable and despondent, now facing a future without Bernie.
Trump uses his go-to talking points such as ‘the wall, ISIS, torture and Black Lives Matter – but changes the message ever so slightly to appeal to youthful, liberal voters. Trump has touted his ‘very good brain’ and it’s been in overdrive, reworking the old standards. As an example: Trump (now) says we need abortion – but only for the ‘ugly.’ Those who are ‘beautiful’ will be paid by the government to raise their gorgeous children. Surely ideas like this will bring altruistic millennials flocking to Trump rallies.
A delighted Trump crowed; “I can be conservative or liberal – it’s not hard. The kids are gonna love this!”
Meanwhile, the Republicans are still waiting for Trump to be “presidential.”
