Keith Olbermann takes a look at what’s really going on with Trump’s Muslim ban and Hispanic purge. When you meet the individuals and hear the compelling stories of those who have been deported and/or harassed, It is abundantly clear that the ‘travel ban’ and immigration crackdown have nothing to do with protecting America and fighting terrorism…It is terrorism. These are the ‘bad hombres’ and the ‘rapists and murderers’ Trump uses to justify his extreme measures.
Families of military servicemen and women overseas, are deported illegally. The children’s author in the photo is another ‘bad dude’ who has been to the U.S. 114 times, but this is Trump’s America! The Oregon infant whose life was hanging in the balance because her place of birth is listed as Iran, is another of the people from whom we need ‘protection.’
Trump didn’t ascend to the Oval Office by appealing to people’s better natures. In his address to Congress, Trump mentioned ‘the Wall’ again, despite decreased travel from Mexico to the U.S.. I leave it to Mr. Olbermann to express what could and is happening already, and I trust we already #RESIST.
