Gold: Rush Limbaugh demonstrates the flexible relationship he enjoys with the truth while gaining ground as the voice of the dumbest side of the GOP/Teabagger political movement. While little is officially known of Time Square blunderer Faisal Shahzad, Limbaugh announced the man’s alleged political party today, once more making Limbaugh one step less credible, and much more ill-intentioned than tabloids which frequently scoop ‘Bat Boy’ and space alien stories.
Silver: Rupert Murdoch is touchy! Don’t ask him about his problem child Glenn Beck. Like many parents of delinquents, Murdoch insists on a rosy public facade, but Beck’s comment that Obama has "A deep seated hatred of white people" won’t soon fade from public memory, nor will his chalk board rants, creepy theater, paranoid conspiracy theories or vanishing sponsors.
