Vote for the Illiterate Party 2016!

Vote for the Illiterate Party 2016!Not being able to read is no hindrance to voting,  just circle the orange clown on the front of your ballot.

I got an Echo Dot recently. It taught me that soon, very soon, there will be little if any reason to read or write at all.  Alexa can already read audio books to you and any text in a viable computer voice. Once it is easily integrated to our smart TVs there will be no need to read the guide.  When soon integrated to our smart phones it will read and write our text messages, Tweets and even flash Facebook pictures on wherever we want.

And of course, Republicans do not want people to read.  After all, study after study shows that those who have general liberal arts degrees [a little knowledge about everything] along with those who read books have a far greater sense of empathy and altruism than those who don’t. Both empathy and altruism being things Republicans want to keep out of the reach of their supporters for it would upset their advantage in what politics is and always has been all about, WE vs ME.

This free college thing Democrats are pushing is not going to fly well with the Republican Base. Liberal arts? Are you kidding me? Reading Dickens, Twain, Hugo and Tolstoy?  Get real!  These people don’t want their kids going anywhere near that crap. This is why we have tax funded support of Texas A&M.

Here in Texas Art is the guy who lives on the corner and literature what the NRA leaves in your mailbox.
