You know it’s not just that Trayvon Martin and African Americans lost, or even that George Zimmerman won, the real horror is what a big win this has been for the Republicans, the Confederacy, Colt, the NRA and Ted Nugent.
The lesson of course is that for Stand Your Ground to work properly, you have to have a gun in your pocket. Trayvon Martin stood his ground without a gun for what good it did him. So everyone had best get a gun and get it now! In fact perhaps we should subsidize guns purchases for poor black men. I wonder if the NRA would go with that? I really don’t know the answer to that.
